NUMS (National University of Medical Sciences) aggregate calculation is done using a weighted average of three components:

  1. Matriculation Marks (10%)
  2. FSc Marks (40%)
  3. NUMS Entry Test Marks (50%)

Step-by-Step Calculation:

1. Matriculation Marks (10%):

  • Your Matriculation marks contribute 10% to your total aggregate.
  • To calculate the weighted contribution of Matric marks, multiply your Matric marks by 0.1.

Formula:
Matric Contribution = Matric Marks * 0.1

2. FSc Marks (40%):

  • Your FSc marks contribute 40% to your total aggregate.
  • To calculate the weighted contribution of FSc marks, multiply your FSc marks by 0.4.

Formula:
FSc Contribution = FSc Marks * 0.4

3. NUMS Test Marks (50%):

  • Your NUMS Test marks contribute 50% to your total aggregate.
  • To calculate the weighted contribution of NUMS Test marks, multiply your NUMS Test marks by 0.5.

Formula:
NUMS Test Contribution = NUMS Test Marks * 0.5

4. Final Aggregate Calculation:

To calculate your final aggregate, simply add up all the weighted contributions:

Formula:
Total Aggregate = Matric Contribution + FSc Contribution + NUMS Test Contribution

For example, if:

  • Matric Marks = 850 out of 1050
  • FSc Marks = 900 out of 1100
  • NUMS Test Marks = 150 out of 200

Step-by-step calculation:

  1. Matric Contribution:
    850 * 0.1 = 85
  2. FSc Contribution:
    900 * 0.4 = 360
  3. NUMS Test Contribution:
    150 * 0.5 = 75
  4. Total Aggregate:
    85 + 360 + 75 = 520
