The IIUI GPA and CGPA Calculator is a simple and user-friendly tool designed to help students of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) calculate their Grade Point Average (GPA) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). This article will guide you step-by-step on how to use this calculator effectively.
GPA (Grade Point Average): This is the average of the grade points earned in a single semester. It is calculated by dividing the total grade points by the total credit hours for that semester.
CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average): This is the average of all GPAs earned across multiple semesters. It reflects your overall academic performance.
Open the IIUI GPA and CGPA Calculator in your web browser.
Under the GPA Calculator section, you will see a table with columns for Course, Grade, and Credit Hours.
To add more courses, click the “Add Course” button. This will add a new row to the table.
For each course:
Enter the course name (e.g., Course 1, Course 2, etc.).
Enter the grade you received (e.g., A, B, C, etc.).
Enter the credit hours for the course (e.g., 3, 4, etc.).
After entering the grades and credit hours for all your courses, click the “Calculate GPA” button.
The calculator will compute your GPA based on the entered data and display the result below the button.

Scroll down to the CGPA Calculator section.
You will see a table with columns for Semester, GPA, and Credit Hours.

Double-Check Inputs: Ensure that you enter the correct grades and credit hours for each course or semester.
Use Valid Grades: Enter grades in the format specified (e.g., A, B, C, etc.). Invalid grades will not be calculated.
Add All Courses/Semesters: Make sure to include all courses or semesters to get an accurate GPA or CGPA.
Save Your Data: If you need to calculate your GPA or CGPA again, consider saving your inputs in a separate document for easy reference.
