The Grade Point Average (GPA) is a figure from 0.00 to 4.00 used to indicate a student’s performance in a semester. A standard scale of 0.00 to 4.00 is recommended for all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
GPA is calculated using the following formula: GPA = Sum over all courses in a Semester (Course Credit Hours × Grade Points Earned) / Total Semester Credit Hours
Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is calculated as: CGPA = Sum over all taken courses in all Semesters (Course Credit Hours × Grade Points Earned) / Total Credit Hours taken in all Semesters
Percentage is calculated as: PERCENTAGE = Sum of the marks obtained in overall taken courses in all Semesters / Sum of the Total Marks of all subjects taken in all Semesters
