💡 Tips for Buying Tiles
Always buy 5–10% extra tiles as wastage buffer. Tiles break during cutting and installation — running out mid-project is a nightmare since dye-lots can vary.
📐 Diagonal laying = add 20% wastage. Tiles must be cut at 45° angles, wasting significantly more material.
🏗️ Large tiles (24"×24" and above) require a very flat, leveled surface. Add 5% extra for uneven floors.
📦 Check the box label for exact tiles per box — sizes vary by brand and collection (typically 4–10 tiles/box).
🎨 Match batch numbers when buying multiple boxes — color can vary slightly between production batches.
🔢 Always round up boxes to the nearest whole number — you can't buy half a box.
