📖 What is Zakat?
The word Zakat means "to cleanse" — Muslims believe it purifies their wealth and pleases Allah (SWT).
"My mercy encompasses all things, but I will specify it for the righteous who give Zakat" — Quran 7:156
🔢 What is Nisab?
- Gold Nisab: 87.48 grams (7.5 Tola) of gold
- Silver Nisab: 612.36 grams (52.5 Tola) of silver
- If you own only gold → use gold Nisab
- If you own a mix of assets → use silver Nisab (lower, more common)
